[Sticky] Rules and housekeeping

As with all other discussion boards, there are some simple rules. Anyone found to be breaking these rules will be banned and have their chat privileges removed and will no longer be able to participate in the discussion boards.

Chat rules

• NEVER share your personal details or passwords. This includes addresses, phone numbers, bank details, etc.
• Treat everyone with respect.
• Bullying, harassment, discrimination, and foul language will not be tolerated. This will result in an instant ban and a discussion with your parents.
• Do not spam the boards. If you make too many posts in a given amount of time, you will be placed in time-out and unable to comment.

Description of the different forums:

• Announcements. This will be used by me to announce any upcoming website outages due to upgrades, new website features, and other interesting news. These are generally short snippets of information. Larger announcements (such as this one) will always be accompanied by an official post.
• Feedback and ideas. An easy way for you to share your ideas and provide feedback or request content. Everyone is welcome to share their ideas, so please treat other people’s ideas respectfully. If you like someone else’s idea, you can vote on them to make them more visible.
• Trading Post. The Trading Post can be used to trade away some prizes received from the Egg Shop. Make a post and arrange a trade with someone else. I will deliver the items once the trade has been finalised.
• Maths chat. A place to talk about maths related topics only.
• Off-topic. A place to talk about anything else.
